Microsoft has posted their usual update on updates over at the Windows Phone Blog. Eric Hautala, GM of Customer Experience Engineering, has provided the usual information on what phones should be receiving the 7392 update now, and who is still waiting. The 7392 update a security update that began rolling out shortly after the release of NoDo to fix certificates being used to unlock Windows Phones.

The 7392 update is now rolling out to devices on Sprint (U.S.) and Orange (Europe), but if you have a Samsung Omnia 7 on Orange you will be updated at a later time. Omnia 7 devices on Deutsche Telekom (T-Mobile) across Europe  are also receiving the security update. Finally, for those of you with a different revision of Samsung Focus, your 7392 update is still not ready and is still in testing.

7392 is now rolling out to Windows Phones on Sprint in the U.S. and Orange in Europe. If you have an Omnia 7 on Orange, you won’t be receiving an update just yet. We are going to update those phones separately.

We’re also now rolling out updates to Omnia 7s on Deutsche Telekom across all of Europe (where some folks know it better as T-Mobile), with more Omnia 7 deliveries in the queue.  As I mentioned in last week’s post, remember to see this support article if you get stuck installing 7392 on your Omnia.

We are still very focused on starting updates for the flash memory variant of the Samsung Focus. The teams are working hard to test the update, get it scheduled, and get it into your hands.
